Goce Delchev University in Shtip was established by the Assembly of the Republic of Macedonia on 27 March 2007. Goce Delchev University was founded initially with seven faculties and one higher school. The faculties are as follows: Faculty of Law, Faculty of Economics, Faculty of Mining, Geology and Polytechnic, Faculty of Agriculture, Faculty of Computer Science and Information Technology, Faculty of Music and Higher Medical School.

建校初期，戈采·德尔切夫大学仅有7个学院和1所高等学校，分别是：法学院、经济学院、矿学院、地质工艺学院、农业学院、计算机与信息技术学院、音乐学院和医学高等学校。现在，戈采·德尔切夫大学下设13个学院，拥有3个校区。
