Faculty of Music, one of four faculties within the University of Arts in Belgrade, is the oldest and the highest ranked state-funded music educational institution in Serbia and the region. Faculty of Music is a true leader in music education, a prestigious institution that has been nurturing and developing music talents for more than eight decades.
Faculty of Music provides education in the field of music art and in the field of humanities. With its 11 study programs (3 at Bachelor level, 5 at Master level, 2 at Specialization, and 3 at Doctoral level) with 107 modules at all levels, 205 teaching and 40 administrative staff, and more than 1000 students and 7615 alumni, Faculty of Music has developed itself into strong educational, artistic and scientific center in the country and the region.
The unique position and relevance of the Faculty in higher music education in the country and the region is affirmed by the fact that Faculty has the most far-reaching approach to music education comprising music performance (voice, conducting and all symphonic instruments), composing, and music science.
Faculty of Music continuously develops itself into the modern European higher educational institution recognized by its educational, artistic, scientific and vocational achievements of its teaching staff, associates and graduates. The Faculty promotes artistic activity and accomplishes the highest quality teaching and educational work respecting the principals and the values of the European Higher Educational Area but also in accordance with the Law of the Higher Education of the Republic of Serbia together with the standards and the guidelines of the National Council of the Higher Education of the Republic of Serbia. Since 2006/2007, the Faculty programs have been adjusted to the standards of the Bologna Convention.
As the oldest and the biggest institution of the higher music education in Serbia, Faculty of Music endeavors to achieve the unity of the educational, artistic, scientific, vocational and research work whose contents and results, respectively, the knowledges, are used in the teaching procedure. The Faculty spreads, improves and promotes the knowledge and learning motivating by that the artistic and scientific creativity and supports the desire for improvement and knowledge acquisition.
Faculty of Music follows the paths and the latest development of higher music education in Europe and the rest of the world by truly and completely fulfilling those strategic objectives being, at the same time, widely open to the new ideas both from external and internal participants in the educational processes. The Faculty’s most important task is to prepare the students for their future profession both as artist, scientists and teachers – to educate them to be able to maintain the whole music life in the country as artists and scientist, and to be able to transfer knowledge and experience to the future generations as teachers at various levels of music and general education systems in Serbia.

贝尔格莱德艺术大学音乐学院提供音乐艺术和人文教育,共开设11个不同层次的学习项目(3个学士学位项目、5个硕士学位项目、2个专业项目和3个博士学位项目),总计包括107种课程。学院拥有205名教师、40名行政人员、1000多名学生和7615名校友,已经发展成为了塞尔维亚及该地区优秀的教育、艺术和科学中心。
作为高等音乐教育机构,贝尔格莱德艺术大学音乐学院在塞尔维亚及该地区享有独特的重要地位,因为学院采用影响最深远的方法开展音乐教育,包括音乐表演(声乐、指挥和所有交响乐器)、作曲和音乐科学。
贝尔格莱德艺术大学音乐学院始终步履不停,如今已经成为了享誉欧洲的现代高等教育机构,其教师、助教和毕业生的教育、艺术、科学和职业成就都备受认可。学院着力促进艺术活动,开展最优质的教学和教育工作,尊重欧洲高等教育学区(European Higher Educational Area)的原则和价值观,同时也遵守《塞尔维亚共和国高等教育法》(Law of the Higher Education of the Republic of Serbia)及塞尔维亚共和国高等教育全国委员会制定的标准和指导方针。2006-2007年后,学院已经按照《博洛尼亚协定》(Bologna Convention)的标准对项目进行了调整。
